How is Tottenham's 2010 like Bobsledding?

So.........

What is going on with us in 2010? Three straight limp performances. I'm slightly befuddled; Kranjcar and Modric should have enough class between them to dispatch Leeds' midfield but they never really showed up. I think the talk of us being a one-man team is starting to hit closer to the board. We all knew that Lennon opened things up all across the pitch but this much?

Two causes for regret:

1. Pavlyuchenko took that goal so well. the dummy. the touch. beautiful. But now nobody'll remember it. He needed it more than anyone. Could have been his impetus to getting back in the squad. He's a class player, I wish he'd gotten more chance. Alas, it looks to be too late. My guess is that goal did nothing more than add a mil onto his transfer fee.

2. Bale, oh Gareth. Played so bloody well tonight. Could he have passed that chance late in the match off sooner to Pav or Keane? Yep, and that probably would've ended it. But if we're passing blame around, Defoe making that penalty would've changed the game and he bollocksed up a couple other chances as well. And Jenas... well... fuck it. Bale was our best attacking threat tonight. May he blossom and win a match that he starts.

Fulham Tuesday. Panic stations. Result compulsory to reignite our season.

Knee jerk reaction post, no. 1

Unacceptable.
